State of the Map Europe 2024

Co-presented "Production release announcement for fAIr, HOT's AI assisted mapping community service" alongside Anna Zanchetta and Kshitij Raj Sharma at SotM Europe 2024 in Łódź, Poland. The talk announced fAIr's transition from a research project to a production-grade community service, covering the AI model accuracy research that underpinned the release, the open-source architecture, and the workflow that enables humanitarian mappers to train custom AI models for building detection using their own local imagery.

The presentation also showcased early community adoption and outlined the roadmap for expanding fAIr's capabilities.
