The event featured 40+ oral presentations, poster sessions, keynotes, and workshops covering topics from forest monitoring and disaster response to agricultural assessment and marine conservation.
Co-authored an academic poster submission with Anna Zanchetta (Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team), contributing work at the intersection of AI-assisted mapping and Earth observation. The submission focused on HOT's fAIr approach to community-led AI model training for building detection from satellite imagery.
